Lion Feuchtwanger (1884-1958) was a German-Jewish novelist and playwright. He was an engaged opponent of the early Nazi-movement but naive towards Stalin’s Communism. Some of his well known works are Jew Suess, The Josephus-Trilogy or Goya.
